I’ve loved interior design from an early age. I went to school for it, have been practicing for ten years and wouldn’t want any other career!

But on a personal note… my house is far from perfect! My husband and I started renovating our 100+ year old house 9 years ago. We spent nights and weekends pouring our hearts into redoing electrical, drywall, making trim, painting and planning our dream home. With kids, work, my husband going back to school and general life craziness projects have been left in a less than ideal state.

As life never seems to stand still my idea of ideal has shifted. I am trying to find simple ways to complete projects on my own (while hubby is in school!). This blog is here for me to share my personal projects, work for clients and inspiration.
